Money Laundering related to Human Trafficking

The main schemes of money laundering related to human trafficking, the problems that institutions dealing with these criminal activities are facing, will be discussed on April 7, 2009, in a conference at the National Investigation Service.

The Conference is organized by RiskMonitor and the National Investigation Service. Representatives of the main institutions working in the area of countering money laundering related to human trafficking in Bulgaria will take part in the event.

The results from a RiskMonitor research on money laundering related to human trafficking will be presented at the conference. The research was done by RiskMonitor's criminology expert, Georgi Petrunov.

The Conference is funded by the Balkan Trust for Democracy.
