During the first two years of its existence the Commission submitted to the court 50% more cases than the Prosecution did under the Law on Citizens' Property. Despite this growth the Commission's work and the process of deprivation of property acquired from criminal activity encountered various difficulties. They are related to public control, conflicting case law and issues of administrative capacity. This is the direction to target the measures for improving the functions of this specialized body.
