SANS is an Intelligence Service, not a Police and Investigation Office

In 2010, SANS continues to evolve as an intelligence service.  It managed to clear up its alien police and investigative functions, typical for the early period of its existence. The Agency significantly improved its accountability with the submission of annual reports on the activities and created a precedent in the practice of intelligence agencies. SANS abruptly left the media, which decresed significantly the scandals that accompanied it in the beginning.
