Organised Crime on the Balkans through the Vision of the Legislator
15.10.2008The dependencies between organised crime development and the legislation aimed to prevent it has rarely been an object of interdisciplinary comparative research. Most analytical works focus either solely on the legal framework, or entirely on the objective characteristics of the separate organised crime types, separate organised crime associations and the factors which influence them. The current research attempts for the first time to clarify the impact of the legislation over the development of organised crime by focusing on the Balkan region.
