Donations in the Ministry Of Interior

The Ministry of Interior has received donations amounting to 3, 87 million leva in kind and 247,647 leva in cash. These are the official figures presented by the heads of the institution in their answers to the increased public attention on the subject who and how sponsors the Ministry. The first disclosures were made by an insider - an employee of the "Road Crimes" department Konstantin Ivanov. After the scandal he resigned and became a subject of an internal investigation. On August 15, Minister Tsvetanov signed a special order, which bans the adoption of donations.
