Specialized Prosecutions Against Organized Crime

Riskmonitor starts the implementation of the project "Specialized Prosecutions Against Organized Crime", funded by America for Bulgaria Foundation. The project builds upon a successfully implemented predecessor: "Rule of Law and Organized Crime". As part of the previous project, in the period 2012-2013, a series of 17 training seminars and conferences have been organized.

The main goal of our new initiave is to strengthen the capacity of the specialized prosecution in Bulgaria in the fight against organized crime. It will provide thematic trainings for the prosecutors, based on detailed analysis of successful and failed cases in their work. Visting lecturers from the USA and the EU will share their professional expertise in the combat against organized crime. Cases from Bulgaria will be also discussed.

The target group consists of representatives of the Specialized Appellate Prosecution and the Specialized Prosecution.
