Training "Best Practices in Countering Money Laundering"

RiskMonitor experts will conduct a training seminar for municipal employees (as a person under Article 3 paragraph 2 of the The Law on Measures against Money Laundering): "Best practices in countering money laundering. The event will take place on 22 October, 2010, in 'Hall 5' of the Sofia Municipality." The training is supported by Mr. Ivan Sotirov, Deputy Mayor for Public Order, Security and Disaster Protection of Sofia Municipality, who will also address the audience.

The seminar is carried out within RiskMonitor’s project "Promoting and Strengthening the Best European Practices in Implementing Measures to Counteract Money Laundering in Sofia Municipality” with the financial support of Sofia Municipality’s “Europe Program - Civil Projects and European Practices”.

Participants in the training will obtain the Handbook for Municipal Officials "Best Practices in Countering Money Laundering" prepared by RiskMonitor under this project.
