the first official meeting of the partners in this EU-funded research project will be held on October 3 at Godega di Sant'Urbano (TV). The goal is to join efforts and toughen EU regulations in order to fight illegal wood trading. This is a twenty months' endeavour to toughen European anti-corruption measures against the illegal activities that are carried out each year in the wood industry and to identify the flaws in current EU regulations that can lead to illegal wood traffic.
