TREES Project - Final Conference

On July 14 2016 in Rome was held the final meeting under the Project TREES, aimed to help protecting European
wood from criminal infiltration. In 2 sessions the problems of illegality and corruption in the timber industry were
presented along with the challenges to assess the risks. The lecturers summarized the results of the research,
conducted within the project framework and made recommendations on measures to mitigate the negative consequences of timber crime.
